a special Nob Valley General Membership Meeting on June 30th at 7:30pm in the Nob Valley Pavilion.
Everyone is well aware that the club has had some challenges to meet this season. The membership has been more than supportive with the effort to get the club up and running. It is now time for us to come together again at a special meeting to make some plans for the future of the club. At this special meeting the Board will report on the state of the club and together we will discuss the options that are available to us in order to ensure that the Nob Valley Swim Club will always be the place where our families spend the summer.
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO JOIN US FOR THIS IMPORTANT MEETING !
NOB Valley Swim Team News
The Nob Valley Swim Team began their season with an impressive win. More importantly, the meet, held at the Nob Valley Swim Club, was a huge success. Aside from the coaches and the team who put everything that they had into the race, the parent volunteers did a wonderful job with hosting all aspects of the meet.
Many thanks to the parents that worked the snack table, timed, officiated, worked the scoring table and did the set up and take down. Their spirit of cooperation and commitment is what has made Nob Valley a special place. Although the last two meets, which were held away, did not result in wins for the team, they were meets that saw our team conduct a spirited fight ! The team’s next meet is on Wednesday, July 1st at Lakeridge. There will be no meet on Saturday, July 4th.
Thanks to all who participated in the team’s car wash several weeks ago. It also was a huge success!

An effort is being made to archive photos from this Nob Valley season to the Nob Valley Website. If anyone has any photos that they would like to share with us for this purpose, we would appreciate it if you would send your photos to David Zahler at dzahler@nobvalleyswimclub.com. David will then attach them to the site.
In addition, we are currently sending out a weekly blurb regarding some of the events taking place at the Club. If anyone has any news to contribute, or would like to work with us to create a different format for this weekly newsletter, please contact Bob Patten at bpatten@nobvalleyswimclub.com
Nob Valley Apparel for Sale
In response to requests from our members, we will be ordering Nob Valley Swim Club Apparel to be sold to our members. Order forms will be available at the club and on the website on Monday, June 29th. Please return all orders to the pool to the office in an envelope with your payment. Orders will be accepted until July 5th. Make all checks payable to Nob Valley Swim Club.

- Every other Tuesday Afternoon: Arts and Crafts starting July 7th
- June 29th : 7:30pm Nob Valley Board Meeting
- cancelled due to swim team conflict: July 1st Floats and Rood Beer Floats Nights
- July 4th : Fourth of July BBQ (free hot dogs and burgers for all members)
- July 5th: Family Teams - Red White and Blue Sack Races
- July 10th : Family Movie Night (Hotel for Dogs) cancelled in the event of rain
- July 11th : Texas Hold’em Party
- July 17th: Raft Night - 6 pm to closing!
